Dive into our Blackburn project, where we’ve seamlessly married functionality with design. Team LTKI was presented with a fairly well-maintained kitchen, but our clients yearned for something more – a space that not only served practical needs but also resonated emotionally.

Guided by our designer, Marisa, our approach is holistic, aiming to go beyond mere aesthetics. We dive deep into the very essence of why clients choose to renovate. The clients vision was heartfelt and simple: they dreamt of cherished moments, enjoying a cup of tea with their daughter and grandchildren, gathered around a newly-envisioned Island Bench. This isn’t just a piece of furniture; it’s a reinvention of the familial dining table.

The design also incorporates a range of features to maximise functionality:

  • Corner pullout drawers for easy access.
  • Dedicated storage solutions for oils and spices.
  • An expansive pantry replete with internal drawers.
  • Integrated appliances, including a dishwasher and fridge, harmoniously blended with the cabinetry for a streamlined look.
  • Modern conveniences like a zip tap offering boiling water in an instant and two wall ovens for dual-temperature cooking.
  • The pièce de résistance: a top-tier Frankie sink, complemented by a standalone drainer.

After deciding to renew our 23-year-old ensuite we considered a number of companies to take on the project. We heard Let's Talk Kitchens and Interiors (LTKI) advertisement on 3AW and as a result added them to the list of suppliers we considered. Their advertisement attracted us as it emphasised that our project would be developed and designed by a qualified interior designer and that the outcome would be commensurate with the project cost. We are incredibly pleased that we chose LTKI to complete the project. From the outset the meetings with Sammie, the interior designer, were informative, practical, and creative. Over several meetings, the final design evolved beyond our initial thoughts. This was facilitated in part by the samples of tiling, bench, and tapware options available at LTKI display room. LTKI’s contract process was clear, and had reasonable obligations for both us and LTKI as the supplier. A detailed project plan was developed which sets out the activities and timeframes for the project. The project extended over 7 weeks and was delivered exactly on time despite an onsite decision to opt for a different tile for two of the walls. The trades that came on site were all terrific, pleasant, helpful, and arrived on time as planned. Gino, the project lead kept us informed on who was arriving on site during the project by regular text. We are delighted with the outcome which exceeded our initial thoughts. We are now enjoying a stunning new ensuite which LTKI built with creativity, excellent quality and importantly on time and on budget.
